Last term we had been learning about mighty mariners this is one of the pieces of writing that I did.When Jesse Martin set sail around the world solo from Melbourne,Australia. Why he so special? because he was the youngest person to sail solo around the world unassisted. He had started his journey on the 8Th December 1998.
He came from a family of one brother and a solo mum who said the family house to pay for the lion heart yacht.
He set sail on his bout ,lion heart . He typed to make it back before his 19th birth day and filmed his journey around the globe. He saw some hump back whales and loved playing guitar.
He was remarkable person and was determined to get it done. He made it because he believed he could do it.
You have included some good information and you are right he is a very remarkable person and definitely must have been very determined to succeed in this venture!
